Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care to each and every patient. Through individualized treatment planning, our goal is to achieve well-balanced faces, beautiful smiles and long-term health and stability of the dentition. We maintain the highest of standards in sterilization, technology and dental materials. We hope to exceed your expectations and always deliver more than promised.

Appointments

To make our patient's and our staff’s time as productive and efficient as possible, we ask that you review and adhere to the following guidelines.

  • Appointment times – Routine adjustment visits can be scheduled as morning or afternoon appointments. High-demand after-school appointment times are reserved for shorter appointments. Longer procedures, such as bandings, delivery of appliances and brace removal will be scheduled during morning hours. Emergency appointments will not be scheduled during prime time hours.
  • Scheduling appointments – Since appointment times fill quickly, be prepared to make your next orthodontic appointment after each visit.  The average appointment interval ranges from 6 to 10 weeks for active patients.
  • School excuses – You’ll find orthodontic appointment excuses printed on your appointment slips.
  • Late arrival – If you anticipate being late for an appointment, please call our office immediately, to reschedule your appointment.
  • Cancellation – If you need to cancel an appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to come in for regularly scheduled appointments can delay the progress of treatment.
  • Appliance problems – If you have a loose or broken orthodontic appliance at any time during your treatment, it is necessary that you contact us immediately.  Don’t wait until you come in for your next appointment!  We will make sure that we are ready to make necessary repairs when you come in and get you back on the road as quickly as possible. Otherwise, you may find you need to return for extra visits for replacement or repair of the loose or broken appliance.
  • Emergency – If you experience any problems or emergencies with your orthodontic appliances, please visit our Emergency Info  page for more instructions. If your topic is not covered on that page, please contact our office.
  • Dental exam – You’ll need a dental cleaning and exam, along with completion of any necessary filling work, before we can place your braces. During treatment, plan on maintaining regular six-month check-ups and cleaning appointments with your dentist.
  • Brushing – All patients must brush prior to their orthodontic appointments. We provide toothbrushes in the office for those coming from school or work.

Your cooperation plays a major part in the success of your orthodontic treatment. Keeping regularly scheduled appointments is very, very important.

Insurance

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them. For more information about our insurance policy or payment options, please visit our Financial/Insurance page.
